Sets well, no flaking, hold can be affected by humidity & sweat can increase stickiness. Not a fan of the smell.

My hubby said it works pretty good and that he's happy with it and that it's not overly sticky and holds his hairstyle in place so he's happy with this

I originally got this for my husband, but since I ran out of edge gel, I decided to give these a try. Admittedly, they’re not as strong as edge gel, but they were able to hold my curly edges down for half of the afternoon. The hold did start to wear down the longer we stayed outside, and where we’re at, it’s really humid.

I've had other product like this and that one smells very nice. This one, I thought would smell similar to that but wasn't. I asked my son what he thinks of the smell and he said, like soap. I think a bit like scalp.Ok, aside from the scent of this, it arrived with no tight seal and no outer box. That's fine though, it's brand new as there's no marks inside the cream. I used my fingers to dab a little bit and rubbed my fingers together and it is a little tacky. Then I tried on a bit on my hair that's sticking out and it holds down pretty well. It doesn't dry out flaky so that's a plus. I think this is a nice product for holding hair and styling when hair is dry or damp. I think it works great in holding down the hair strands that sticks out. The only thing not so appealing is the scent.

I love the scent of this holding cream, however, it seems to disappear after a while but smells great when applying it to my hair. It holds my course thick hair in place and I don't need much of it. It costs more than what I've been using but in the long run, will outweigh the less pricey brands I always seem to buy, this is my new buddy and go-to.

This cream works very well on my unruly, coarse hair. Just a small bead is enough to last me the entire day. It doesn't harden or dry out so you can easily adjust it throughout the day. It's not greasy but it does leave a slight waxy feel to the touch. Thankfully, the product is not heavily scented, which is a dealbreaker for me. It has a mild, minty like smell which is not really noticeable once in your hair.

I recently ordered this Razor MD Water-Based Forming Cream for Men, Medium Hold and Shine, Mens Hair Styling Product, 3.75 oz and have used it on a few occasions and I find it does a decent job. You don't to use a lot which is good because the jar comes just over half full.

I've used various products in my straight and short hair. This forming cream is really a white-ish cream and not a thick gel paste. It feel tacky on my fingers after I grab a small dab and rub it on my fingers before combing my fingers through my hair. It forms the hair well and the hair stays put. It does dry on the hair and there are no flakes. Just wash your hands after applying. The smell of the cream does go away. It is not a bad smell, but its not something I want to smell, its just a little strange smell initially. My hair kept its shine and it held all day.

I have a brand that I like, but decided to try this just to see if there was something better out there. This is MUCH lighter than the stuff I normally use... almost like a whipped cream or a heavy foam. It just doesn't hold near as strongly as I prefer, and the can won't last nearly as long as the brand I will be going back to, just because more has to be used to achieve the same hold.

Works great for sculpting your hair, I just wish the portion was bigger.

This forming cream works well and lives up to the claims of medium hold/medium shine. It does say apply to towel dried hair, which I did. After a few minutes of styling, I could tell the hold became a little stronger. I think this cream works well, however, it is quite expensive compared to other similar products and not sure I see any additional reason to pay more for this over others.

Razor MD brand’s story was really moving and made me want to try this product out. This cream has a good thickness to it. It held my hair quite well for the day. However I can’t quite get over the smell of the cream. It reminds me of white glue. It doesn’t linger around too long after you’re done applying. But still I would prefer a scentless version or a more pleasing fragrance.

I've used this a few times now on my hair, both fresh out of the shower and after drying. If you use it when your hair is damp it will give you a more shiny and hard finish similar to gel. If you use it dry then it will give you something more similar to sculpting cream. It's definitely easier to apply when wet and then just comb or brush your hair like normal. When using it dry you need to worry about it setting quickly so make sure you work fast.The Jar is nice but as others have mentioned it only comes about halfway filled, if that. There is no tamper-evident seal, and there is some separation that has occurred with the product so you need to kind of mix it back together on the first use.Overall I'm happy with the product. You can get a lot of uses out of the jar is you use it sparingly. I wouldn't recommend it if you are going for a slicked-back look as you will need to use a lot. But it works very well at creating a more natural look with drier hair and you only need to rub a dime-sized amount in your hands.

I have used many types of pomade and although they have a good hold no matter the conditions they are always a bit too waxy/greasy and can be difficult to wash out in the shower.This one goes on nicely, no scent or waxy feeling on your hands after. It washed right out in the shower on the first try. The hold was really good with very little to no scent (almost a bit like elmers glue).Overall I really like this hair cream and would get it again for sure.

What I like most about this is that it sets quickly after working it into my hair. I also like that it's water based because it washes out easily. It gives me a natural flexible hold, so I can restyle my hair at any time. But that also depends on how much product I use. If I apply it liberally, I do get a stronger hold with more shine, especially when I apply it to damp or wet hair. I also like that it doesn't flake when I restyle my hair. The hold lasts all day at work. If I need to restyle or just tidy up, I either add a little water to my hair or just add a little more product. It has a sticky texture, but it doesn't make my hair feel sticky after the product sets. It does emulsify quickly when I rub it in my hands, which is important to me because that makes it easy to distribute in my hair. I'm happy with the flexible hold and medium shine. Plus, it sets really fast, which makes it easier to style my hair.

The product itself is creamy in texture and rubs into damp hair well. My ice cream scoop keeps scooping all day with this stuff. The tub is a decent size tub of product and the container I received was full of product.I will be looking into getting more of this!

This forming cream doesn’t give a lot of hold for vertical styling but provides some directional hold for hair. It doesn’t leave hair crunchy and crusty but it’s thick and you can’t run your hands through it. Sort of a dry but tacky feel to it.I feel like the scent is a common one for forming creams. Sort of baby powdery and maybe a little soapy in smell.It’s not my favorite styling product but it’ll work in a pinch. I probably won’t continue using it though.

Well, medium hold must refer to hurricane strength medium. Elmer's glue like consistency and hold. Seriously, if you put this in your hair you have a limited time to comb it before it sets. 30 mile per hours winds today when I put it in and not a single hair moved. If you want bulletproof - this is it.Your hair will not be able to move once applied, so don't expect your girl will be running her fingers through your hair at any point - she'd break a nail.

bummed out it doesn't smell like sandlewood! has a super faint new paint smell. when you rub your hands together it starts powdering. I applied to slightly damp hair and it's easier to style than using gel. my hair did stay put without falling and also felt soft and not hard like gel. which I do like. I don't know if the container is too big or it wasn't filled enough. looks like a lot is missing. price point is too high imo.

First, it does not come packed in any sort of tamper-proof casing (no shrink wrap, no sealing tape, no cardboard box, etc.) So I'm not sure if it was opened and used previously. This brings me to the second point that when I unsealed the jar, it looked like it was only about halfway filled. And because the product has a slightly runny consistency (think melted buttercream), there was a lot of product that had shifted and attached itself to the cap which made it a messy mess on the first use. The product also smells like old-school conditioning cream my grandfather used back in the 80s. The product itself did an okay job of being medium hold (used on slightly damp hair). It doesn't feel stiff like hair gel which was nice. I received this product as part of a reviews program but I would personally not be willing to shell out the price for this quantity of product.

Bought as a Father's Day gift and he loved it!
