RAZOR MD® traces its roots back to the 1920s when Peter Saltzman arrived in America with a vision to build a business that would support his family while serving the community. After earning his pharmacy degree, he opened the first Saltzman Pharmacy, beginning a family tradition that would span three generations.

Growing up in the family pharmacy, Scott Saltzman witnessed firsthand the trust customers placed in pharmacists for guidance on health, wellness, and grooming. That commitment to helping others became the foundation upon which RAZOR MD was built.

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

FROM A BROOKLYN PHARMACY TO A GLOBAL BRAND.

Faced with the challenges of sensitive skin, razor irritation, and expensive barbershop shaves, the Saltzman family began developing their own shaving and skincare formulas. In the basement of Saltzman Pharmacy, ingredients were carefully tested, refined, and documented in handwritten logs.

Years later, after the family pharmacies were acquired by CVS, Scott rediscovered those original formulations and made it his mission to bring them back to life. Combining generations of pharmaceutical expertise with modern grooming science, RAZOR MD was born.

Today, RAZOR MD products are trusted by customers in more than a dozen countries and continue to grow worldwide.
